Dr. Bob Cohen
Dr. Bob Cohen joined the clinical staff at Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital in December 2008, bringing extensive experience in emergency and critical care medicine and surgery gained from 22 years as an Emergency Clinician in specialty and referral practices. His background also includes four years of teaching veterinary emergency medicine at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA.
Dr. Bob received his education at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, completing his undergraduate degree in Zoology in 1977 and his DVM at UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Dr. Bob has practiced in Georgia, Maine, Connecticut, and Massachusetts before moving to Pennsylvania in 1994. He lives outside State College with his two cats, Ted and Isaac.
Dr. Barb Eddy
Dr. Barb Eddy joined the team at Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital in 1991, after earning a B.S. in Animal Bioscience at Penn State University in 1984 and then her DVM from the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Dr. Eddy has interests in Internal Medicine and Surgery, and also enjoys Ophthalmology and Clinical Pathology. And when she’s not practicing, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and gardening. Dr. Eddy lives outside State College with her husband and daughter, along with her two cats, Mac and May, a Lab mix named Ginny, two horses, a pony, and a sheep named Sally.
Dr. Katie Winkelman
Dr. Katie Winkelman started her veterinary career at the Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital, working as a Veterinary Assistant during her undergraduate years at Penn State University. She graduated in December, 2002 with a double major in Biology and Animal Bioscience and then earned her DVM at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Following graduation, she completed a one-year Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro, NC, before coming back to State College in 2008 to join the team at Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Winkelman has interests in Internal Medicine and Neurology. When she’s not practicing, she’s a huge sports fan and particularly enjoys following baseball, college football, and hockey. She is also an avid reader. Dr. Winkelman enjoys living in State College with her two dogs and two cats.
Dr. Rochelle Jones
Dr. Rochelle Jones attended the University of California, Davis, receiving a BS in Animal Science in 1999, followed by her DVM in 2004. Following graduation, Dr. Jones began practicing at small animal clinics in the San Francisco bay area. She worked at a large multi-doctor practice, which in addition to appointments saw a large volume of walk-in emergencies. The practice specialized in exotic animal medicine and surgery, giving Dr. Jones the opportunity to expand her knowledge of working with rabbits, rats and mice. Most recently she worked in a five-doctor cat and dog practice in San Francisco, CA, with interests in internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Jones also volunteered her time doing spays and neuters at a busy urban animal shelter in Oakland, CA.
When she's not practicing, Dr. Jones enjoys playing roller hockey and softball, skiing, traveling, and is an avid baseball fan. Dr. Jones lives in State College with her boyfriend who is in the bioinformatics graduate program at Penn State, and her cat Domino.

Nancy Hastings
Nancy Hastings was first hired by Mt. Nittany as a receptionist. In 1993, after several years helping clients at the front desk, Nancy took the plunge into grooming. She’s happy to report that Mt. Nittany Grooming has continued to grow ever since. Nancy has lived in the State College area most of her life and now resides in Pleasant Gap with her son, Jason, who is her pride and joy! When she’s not in a room full of dog hair and running dryers, Nancy enjoys the peace and quiet of gardening and spending time with her family.

Mary Glincosky
Mary graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, in 1996, with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Kinesiology. Mary joined our team at Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital in 1997, as our Kennel Director, and has been managing our boarding facility ever since. Animals are one of Mary’s greatest passions in life and it shows through the hard work, dedication, love and compassion she brings to her work at Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital.

Pat Krezo
Pat took over managing our General Store for Animals in 1999 and has been serving customers ever since. She has successfully completed numerous nutritional training seminars and proudly offers a wide range of specialty, prescription and hard-to-find foods, in addition to many other high-quality products. Chances are, if your dog or cat has a special dietary need, Pat knows what food to recommend‹and if we do not carry it, she will gladly get it for you. Pat enjoys meeting and talking with the many pet owners who come to our store, in search of products to keep their pets happy and healthy. She’d welcome the opportunity to help you with your pet as well.
